Choosing the right puppy for the right home!
Getting a dog or puppy on impulse is rarely a good idea. There are so many breeds to choose from and the secret to getting that "perfect pet", is doing your homework.
Aptitude testing is a great tool to use to help determine if a certain dog would be right for your home. Puppies and older dogs can be evaluated.
The majority of breeders today are willing to have their puppies tested and are interested in the results. After all, no breeder wants a puppy returned after a few months.Many guide dog trainers and organizations such as police departments, rely on this test to help them chose dogs that will work out the best for their situation.
The test scores the dog on different responses and the score is then interpreted to see if the dog has the right temperament, energy level, etc. for you or your family.
